Archibox

ArchiBox is a creative building kit developed by Archild - the first English based architecture program for children in Korea. Our experienced educators, who have been involved in children’s architectural education programs in London and New York, created this special kit that consists of 2D and 3D activities. 2D activities are designed to help children understand architectural concepts and principles, whereas 3D activities are hands-on projects that let children play with different materials and create their own structures. These exercises are specifically designed to help expand their thinking ability and imagination.

Each ArchiBox introduces a renowned architect and their work every month. Children learn about the philosophy and values that underlie each building, and why certain buildings became a city landmark or a symbol of their era. 

It is through these historical buildings and the minds that created them that children can learn how innovative ideas helped forge our society, connecting the past with the present and future. Each box is a mini project where children can explore the ideas and concepts behind buildings, and what the building means for its residents, users and the community. They can then craft their own versions of historic buildings and by doing so, experience the joy of realizing their ideas and explore their creativity.
