Why is it important for children to learn architecture?
We at Archild believe that architecture is an expression of human creativity and ingenuity and thus the perfect medium through which children can gain a deep, meaningful understanding of art, culture, history and even the engineering, mathematics and science behind buildings and structures.
Architectural thinking extends beyond building design and construction: it also asks how buildings relate to their surroundings and the people and communities it serves. At Archild, we hope to foster the joy of creating things, and develop critical thinking skills, social awareness and environmental empathy in budding architects and citizens of the future.
